.................................LADIES OUT TO LUNCH
Our March 19, 2014, Ladies Out to Lunch was held at the beautiful La Sendas Gulf Club. Twenty two ladies car pooled the short distance for lunch on the lower patio. The lone waitress did her very best to add umbrellas around the tables so no one had to look directly into the sun. We did notice that a couple of gals purchased sun visors in order to stave off the sun glare. We ordered from a special menu. I had the Chef Salad with grilled salmon. Excellent!
It was interesting to note that half the group consisted of married ladies while the other half were widows. It is so comforting to know you can be part of the activities here in the Village, whether married or single.
Theresa Boozell, former longtime resident, was a special guest at the luncheon. Not surprising to see that she did not look a day older than when she left here several years ago.
