Our last hurrah of the 2015 summer was held on Thursday, Sept. 17th. Fifteen party animals gathered, though the level of chatter seemed more like twenty five.
Name me a restaurant in the Valley that does a better job with spare ribs than Dolly Spencer. Hers are delumptious. And the menu was beyond description; Spare ribs, Scalloped Potatoes made by Dorothy Schmidt, Kale Salad, Carol Foster, Cole Slaw by Donna Norton, Vinegar Salad made by Reta and donated by Lyle, Grape Salad. Mary, Relish Tray, Pete Peterson, Waldorf Salad by Dolly, and Fruit Truffle by Jean Halvorson. Wonderful food and camaraderie.
Special guest at the party was Laurie Hennings, from Minneapolis. Laurie has purchased # 55 and plans to be a full time resident. Welcome to the family, Laurie. Now that you have been initiated into the year round extended family, get ready to meet the winter folks who are all a great group of people.
