Dear Snowbirds,
You went home too early.  We are having too much fun.  The Halvorsons hosted a Bratwurst Pot Luck two weeks ago, which was attended by twenty hearty hangers on.  This week the Schmidts hosted a Turkey Pot Luck, complete with all the Thanksgiving amenities.  Both gatherings were great fun.  Who knows what we will come up with for our next T.G.I.'s someday?

Are you thinking about your favorite comic strip costume for our March 5, 2016 annual party?  Several have told me in secret who they will come dressed as.  I hope to see some Li'l Abners and Daisy Maes, Blondies and Dagwoods, and several Lone Rangers and Tontos.  We are working on a terrific menu and hope to have it nailed down in the next couple of weeks.

Enjoy your summers, but don't forget your extended family  in The Village.
