Friday night, was a perfect night for the LET'S PLAY BALL PARTY, held outside, around the pool.  Hosts, Norton's, Anderson's and Finnigan's, did a fine job of setting up this party.  Hot dogs were furnished by the hosts, as well as some beer left over from the St. Pat's party.  They tell me the beer was not too flat.  Guests were invited to wear our favorite team memorabilia, and these were the many teams represented; MINNESOTA TWINS, Shirley Mootz, Martin Aaser, Lee Hain, Tom and Kathy Anderson, Pat Finnigan, DIAMOND BACKS, Jesse Calhoun, Donna Hain, Chuck Bentley, CHICAGO CUBS, Donna Norton, Jean Mills, Sandy Calhoun, Jan Lietzau.  Also represented were; LA DODGERS, Dr. Terry Mootz, (congratulations Terry.) WISCONSIN BADGERS, Peggy Borgword, GENERIC BASEBALL, (Generic Baseball?) Greg Hanke, BOSTON RED SOCKS, Shirley Feinman , TORONTO BLUE JAYS, Ken Sirois , and the SANFRANCISCO GIANTS, Andy Arnot.

With six more tables to interview, and the Gentleman Jack still flowing, we met folks who represented; IOWA STATE, Bill Patton, THE HAWKEYES,( though she was not for certain they were a team) Tootie Teasdale, NOTRE DAME, Adam Norton, (visiting his grandpa and grandma Norton), MILLWAUKEE BRAVES, Joan Hermsen, (Ron Hermsen wore a team shirt too, but I lost my notes), DETROIT TIGERS, Mary Weeks, and FIELD OF DREAMS, Mary Ann Benttine.
My apologies if these teams are not all legitimate baseball teams, or that I have given credit to the wrong fan.

The party was very well attended.  A ten question baseball trivia game was played.  I happened to pick up Adam Norton's copy, and found that his answers, among many other guests  had all been answered correctly.  Thanks Adam for cooking the hot dogs.
A boisterous Take Me Out To The Ballgame, was sung by all to end another Village fun party.
