NORTONS 60 YEARS

Congratulations to a special couple on their 60th. wedding anniversary.

Earl and Donna Norton celebrated on Thursday November 19th. by going out with friends for Chicago Hot Dogs. Cake and ice cream were served later.
The couple have known each other since grade school, but it was only after they were crowned King and Queen of their Freshman class that the romance blossomed. They dated all through High School and were married in a beautiful Fall wedding in 1949.
New Orleans was the honeymoon destination for the newlyweds, though they never reached it. Instead, they turned around and drove home for Thanksgiving, arriving in the first winter blizzard. Their first child was born 9 months and 8 days later.

When asked what their secret was to their long and happy marriage, Donna answered "PATIENCE!" Earl was in agreement saying, "It took a lot of give and take."
Our sincere best wishes to one of the sweetest couples in the village.

You are an inspiration to all.
